Abstract cyberpunk city lights
Layer Zero·Myth & Machine

Software from the underside of things.

Layer Zero is the software arm of Myth and Machine: tools for modified cars, neurodivergent minds, and people trying to coordinate on work that actually matters.

A place for collaborative work on concepts that cut across disciplines: software, fabrication, film, and publishing.

How Layer Zero works

There is no roadmap for Layer Zero in the usual sense. Everything is built slowly and in the open, with the aim of being useful to a small number of people first.

Problem-first, not feature-first

We build where we already feel the friction: the gap between cars and data, between attention and software, between ideas and coordination.

AI-assisted, not AI-led

We use modern tools to move faster, but decisions stay human. The goal is not scale for its own sake, but clarity.

Iterate until it feels right

If a project does not hold up in use, we change it, slow it down, or retire it. There is no obligation to ship something that does not feel necessary.

Working on something near this space?

Layer Zero is not an agency. If what you are building overlaps with these projects or the problems behind them, we are open to a quiet conversation.
